Attorney Bio

Attorney William M. Kolb is a Rhode Island native who earned an undergraduate degree from Brown University, an MBA from Boston University and a Juris Doctor from the Northeastern University School of Law. In addition to his many years in private practice as a lawyer, he has substantial experience in public accounting, business and education. Throughout the 1990s, he served as a special assistant attorney general charged with overseeing all real estate transactions involving the state of Rhode Island.

Today, Bill focuses primarily on business disputes for companies and individuals, advocating on their behalf, both in and out of the courtroom. He is licensed to practice in Massachusetts as well as Rhode Island. Clients benefit from his rigorous, balanced approach to solving problems and protecting their interests.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Association for Justice (RIAJ), and a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association Superior Court Bench/Bar and Creditors’/Debtors’ Rights Committees. He is a congregant of Temple Emanu-El, a member of its finance committee and active as a fundraiser for the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island.
